Cosmetic Dentistry Pasadena Services

Art of Smiles offers several services in cosmetic dentistry Pasadena. One of the services is Veneers. A veneer is an ultra-thin piece of porcelain that is custom made and fitted to your teeth. It is then bonded to your tooth to restore the shape and stability of the tooth. Veneers are one of the safest ways to fix the tooth as well as alter the form, and color of the tooth without risking the health of the natural tooth. Getting a veneer is usually done in more than one visit. The first appointment will consist of dental records, a mold of the tooth or teeth needing work and photographs. At the second appointment, the tooth is prepared by the dentist shaping it, and an impression of the tooth is made and sent to the lab. Then a temporary veneer is created and put in to avoid further damage. AT the third and final appointment, the temporary veneer is removed, and the permanent ones are bonded into place.

Teeth whitening is probably one of the quickly noticeable procedures in cosmetic dentistry. Here at Art of Smiles, our cosmetic dentist Pasadena uses Zoom whitening and can make your teeth up to eight shades brighter in about an hour.

Another tool we use is Invisalign. This is an approach to cosmetic dentistry for aligning your teeth. It uses a series of aligners that are crafted just for you. You wear the Invisalign over your teeth and is replaced every two weeks until your teeth are aligned. The great thing about Invisalign is that there is no metal attached to the teeth and no wires to tighten every two weeks as braces do. Also, Invisalign is made from an almost invisible plastic and does not limit the foods you can eat while wearing them. They also allow you to brush and floss with no problem at all.

Here at Art of Smile, we also offer Adult Orthodontics. Some adults need their teeth aligned but do not want to wear braces for years to accomplish that. They also are concerned about the expense. For those adults, we offer Six Months Smiles. This is a short-term treatment geared at adults. It uses clear braces with the wires that are tooth-colored. Most can have the straight teeth and that great smile they want.

Some other services in cosmetic dentist Pasadena is crowns and bridgework. This includes a fixed bridge.
